Admissions
Why St. Louis Catholic
At St. Louis, our Catholic faith is the cornerstone of what we do. It fuels the community of love and respect that allows every student to thrive in his or her own way.
There’s something for everyone. About 80% of St. Louis students participate in athletics. Nearly 100% participate in at least one team, club or other activity. And every student is part of our House System, which creates a “community within a community” that binds members together for years to come.
St. Louis academics are second-to-none. Over the last five years, St. Louis graduates have been offered billions in scholarships, earned an average 24.2 on the ACT and collectively completed several college credit hours before finishing high school. These accomplishments are due in part to some of the outstanding academic programs available at St. Louis Catholic High School, including:
- Our dual enrollment program includes 14 collegiate courses in eight subjects to jump-start your student’s post-secondary education beginning in the tenth grade.
- Our Advanced Placement program features 12 courses in a variety of subjects.
- St. Louis offers a number of non-traditional courses that prepare students for college, careers and life, including carpentry, media arts, computer architecture, family and consumer sciences, photography and more.
- Theology is not only part of the curriculum at St. Louis Catholic, it is woven into our everyday experiences with school-wide prayer every morning, prayer before individual classes, and weekly masses and liturgical celebrations to include recognizing key feast days and solemnities.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach at St. Louis Catholic High School. Our smaller classes and tight-knit community provide an ideal environment for every student to thrive. No matter what a student desires to accomplish, St. Louis Catholic strives to help them succeed in their goals. Every Saint has a place at St. Louis Catholic High School.

Saint for a Day
St. Louis Catholic High School is best known for its academic reputation - but the lived experience includes so much more. Eighth grade students are invited to attend our time-honored event—Saint for a Day—with our ambassadors and discover what it means to be a Saint!
Saints are students who are open to growth in lots of different ways: in the faith; in developing a commitment to academic success; in building their passions; and in participating in our school community and rising to become a leader within it. Saints are also open to being formed by one another -- by the stories, traditions, and experiences of a student body representing racial, ethnic, socioeconomic and geographic diversity.
Saints are driven. They utilize today as the building blocks of tomorrow. At St. Louis Catholic, high school is about becoming a lifelong learner. We are Saints, and you could be one too!
Open House
Each fall, St. Louis Catholic High School’s Open House event provides an opportunity for prospective students and parents to gain an all-access pass to all things St. Louis – from academics to athletics and from spiritual life to extra-curricular activities. Open House typically takes place just before St. Louis’s priority application period.
